Support for Theodore Jones Elementary

The DREAM Foundation of Central Arkansas is excited to continue supporting Theodore Jones

Elementary and the amazing students and families they serve. Below are areas of focus for this current year:

• Monthly Food Pantry Support - From August through November 2026, and again from

January through May 2027, we will donate $150 each month to support your school food pantry,

totaling $1,350 for the year.

• Building a New Pantry - Thanks to help from Felix Maull, we were able to replace the old pantry with a new one painted Wampus Cat Blue and White.

• Playground Repainting Project - This July, we gave the playground a make over with fresh Wampus Cat blue paint on all of the swings, jungle gym and seasaws.

The Foundation has committed $1000 yearly towards the financial needs of The Conway Kappa League Program, sponsored by the Conway Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The program is committed to developing young men in grades 7–12 into confident, responsible, service-minded leaders.  Kappa Leaguers are encouraged to understand that leadership is not simply about personal achievement—it also means recognizing the needs of others and being willing to serve. Throughout the year, members participate in service projects that allow them to make a positive impact throughout Conway and surrounding communities.

Service activities may include assisting with food pantry and food distribution programs, school supply initiatives, community cleanups, youth-focused events, holiday outreach, educational programs, and other projects benefiting families in need. 

The Achievers' Choice Fund is an initiative dedicated to supporting the undergraduate members of the Iota Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. by providing financial assistance, mentorship, and developmental opportunities that promote academic achievement, leadership, and personal growth. Through the fund, eligible undergraduate members may receive scholarships and financial support to attend Province meetings, the C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference (CRWLC), and other fraternity leadership and educational programs. By reducing financial barriers, the Achievers' Choice Fund helps ensure that undergraduate members have access to experiences that strengthen their leadership abilities, expand their professional networks, and prepare them for continued achievement.

This is funded by Alumni members of Iota Gamma.

The Wheels and Wishes Program is a holiday community outreach initiative dedicated to bringing joy and financial relief to low-income families with children attending Theodore Jones Elementary School. During the Christmas season, the program provides new bicycles and monetary gifts to selected students and families who may be experiencing financial hardship. By helping fulfill a child's Christmas wish while also providing families with additional financial support, Wheels and Wishes seeks to make the holiday season brighter and more memorable for members of our community.

Wheels and Wishes represents more than simply giving gifts—it reflects a commitment to service, compassion, and investing in local families.

Our NupesGiving Program is a community outreach initiative dedicated to supporting low-income families during the Thanksgiving holiday. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and community partners, families receive turkey dinners and traditional Thanksgiving meal items to help ensure they can enjoy a warm and meaningful holiday meal together. This program reflects our commitment to service, compassion, and strengthening families by helping relieve some of the financial burden that can come with the holiday season.

The Mentoring Brunch Program is an annual mentorship and leadership initiative held during University of Central Arkansas Homecoming that brings together undergraduate members of the Iota Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., members of the Conway Kappa League, and alumni mentors. The brunch provides an opportunity for young men to build meaningful relationships with positive role models who can offer guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the upcoming year. During the event, mentors and mentees connect in a relaxed environment while discussing academics, college preparation, career goals, leadership, personal development, and the importance of making responsible decisions.

This is held annually at the Hilton Garden Inn in Conway.

The Job & Career Preparedness Seminar, held at First Community Bank, is a professional development initiative designed for undergraduate members of the Iota Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and young men participating in the Conway Kappa League. The seminar provides participants with practical tools and knowledge to prepare for employment, internships, and future careers. Sessions focus on topics such as résumé development, job-search strategies, interviewing skills, professional attire, workplace etiquette, networking, communication, and building a positive professional image.

Through interaction with professionals, business leaders, and mentors, participants gain valuable insight into what employers look for when hiring and how to successfully transition from the classroom into the workforce. The seminar also gives young men an opportunity to ask questions, practice professional skills, and begin building relationships that can support their future career goals. By investing in career readiness at both the high school and collegiate levels, the Job & Career Preparedness Seminar helps develop confident, prepared, and career-ready young men equipped to pursue opportunities and achieve long-term success.

• $500 Donation to The RED Gala - held in Conway, Arkansas during Heart Awareness Month, The Red Gala is a community event dedicated to raising awareness about heart health and encouraging healthier lifestyles.  

• $500 Donation to The Choosing to Excel Program in Conway, Arkansas, which is a youth-focused initiative dedicated to empowering and encouraging young people to make positive choices and strive for excellence in their everyday lives. 

• $500 Donation to The Jamison Alexander Success Center, a program that promotes one-on-one mentoring efforts and a After-School program at No Cost to youth in the community. The program was developed to ensure all youth have the guidance and support of a caring, stable adult. 

• $250 Donation to The University of Central Arkansas Day of Giving, which is an annual fundraising initiative that brings together alumni, faculty, staff, students, friends, and community supporters to invest in the continued success of UCA and its students.

• $500 Donation to The American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) Conference, which brings together community gardeners, educators, nonprofit leaders, and advocates to share ideas and strengthen community gardening efforts. Fundraising associated with the conference helps support educational programs, gardening resources, community projects, and opportunities that expand access to healthy foods and green spaces.

• $250 Donation to Harvestfest, which is a fun-filled fall church event designed to bring children, families, and the community together in a safe and welcoming environment. The event features a variety of games, activities, and opportunities for children to win prizes while enjoying the excitement of the fall season
